The conference CEC is the main event at the research field of evolutionary computation. The conference is supported by the IEEE and the Computational Intelligence Society. The latter society also is in charge of the IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation journal.
Janez Brest, Aleš Zamuda in Borko Bošković are International Technical Committee members and were also writing revisions for some sent papers. Total number of sent papers for WCCI was 2518, from more than 70 countries.
Our papers were accepted in the special session on large scale global optimization, which has held a competition of selected algorithms (results). Based on the quality, 8 papers were accepted including our papers, for the competition. Among these, our algorithms were ranked 3rd place (jDEdynNP-F) and 6th place (DEwSAcc).
